It was my first time going on a plane alone without family and friends accompanying me. I was a little bit nervous at first but once I was through the security, I gradually felt more calm.
When it was my turn to board the plane, the desk worker asked me if i was under 18 and I said yes, so she let me through without having to check my passport. I don't think me or my parents knew that could happen.
Once I got in the plane, I found out that two small children were sitting on the middle and inner seats of the row and I was on the outside, meaning that they were seperated with their parents.
After 10 minutes or so, the parents of the small children switched spots with me so that they could be with their children. Also, I had to put my luggage 3 rows ahead of me because all the storage areas were full.

After a smooth flight, I passed through the arrivals area harmlessly and saw Auntie Winsome coming over to welcome me. She was suprised at how tall I was then we chatted for a little bit about what was going on at Calgary then we headed out to wait for Uncle Karl to pick us up.
When we were on the ride to their apartment, Uncle Karl asked if I was hungry and of course, being a always hungry person I said yes. Auntie Winsome then suggested getting pizza after I settle down in my new home for 1 day.
And that is exactly what we did. Even after a full pizza, I was still not full so Auntie Winsome made me and Uncle Karl some 出前一丁. With only 12 hours in between when I go to camp, my journey starts.
